Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of the study was to realize the transformation of the granary aspect in the form of surrealist-style graphic art in the background of Kerinci community culture. Rice granaries for the Kerinci community not only as a place to store rice in the past, then also have a social dimension that gives kerinci community identity and relations. The qualitative method is used in this study by relying on observation, in-depth interviews to conduct analysis that can sharpen the imagination of the graphic arts media. The results of this study concluded that the rice barn is still a cultural icon of the Kerinci community. Rice barns also have a deep meaning, can be used as a foundation to look for values ​​as a living guide for the Kerinci community so that it can be used as an example, because the philosophy of the rice granary is to teach about togetherness and cohesiveness in society. In the past the community worked together to harvest rice and collect their crops to be collected, because they already knew that saving money or collecting results meant they formed cooperation in the community so that they could help other disadvantaged citizens.

Abstract

One of the material in craft subjects is craft. The problem is the craft teachers in Junior High School in Solok are generally not from a craft / art education background. Even though one of the material in craft subjects is craft. For teachers who do not have art and craft education backgrounds, it is difficult to carry out craft learning, because they do not master the material. These problems need to be solved. The solution offered to solve the above priority problems is to improve the teacher’s ability by carrying out training activities for them. This activity was done by counseling methods and training in making crafts and designing learning strategies. The results of this activity are; 1) generally, the teachers are able to make good crafts, especially making makrame and woven crafts and 2) generally, the teachers are able to design learning strategies well.

Abstract

Abstract One of the material in the Culture and Craft Arts curriculum at Elementary Schoolis fine arts and crafts. Teachers at Campago Ipuh Elementary SchoolMandiangin Koto Selayan Bukittinggi had problems in learning. Teachers in Elementary Schools have not been able to carry out art and craft learning, in terms of this learning inElementary Schools is the most effective means for the formation of personal children. This is because, besides not having a special educational background in fine arts and crafts, there are other reasons; the teacher does not master art and craft material. Based on the above problems, sothe priority problems to be solved were related to the mastery of material learning in arts and crafts, with the formulation of the problem being; the lack of the teacher’s abilityinElementary SchoolCampago Ipuh Mandiangin Koto Selayan Bukittinggi inmasteringart and craft materials. Therefore,an activity is carried out which thepurpose is to improve the ability of teachers in learning arts and crafts at Elementary SchoolCampago Ipuh Mandiangin Koto Selayan Bukittinggi. Solutionof these problems is done by counseling, training, and mentoring. The results of this activity are 1) in general,Elementary School teachers have mastered fine art material (reliefprint) well, 2) in general,Elementary School teachers have mastered craft material (makrame craft) well.

Abstract

Surveys from APJII conducted in 2016, states 1.8 million or 35% of people in the province of West Sumatra have been connected to the Internet and often access social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. The low ethics of social media of some people causes them to write down the status of SARA. In the Minangkabau community, known ethics communicate organize communications that are compatible with the morma and cultural values ​​of Minangkabau, namely "Kato nan Ampek" and Kaba. Because of the phenomenon related to the phenomenon of the low ethics of the Minangkabau community in social networking sites has inspired the writer's desire to design ILM in the form of motion graphic video that is persuasive in persuasive community to give normative ethics to communicate in the context of Minangkabau culture on social networking sites. The main media of ILM is motion graphic video and is supported with other media such as stickers that are mobile and facilitate the delivery of messages, banners to be published in strategic areas, pins as souvenirs and X banner as a media campaign for in door (inside the room).

Abstract

Teachers in Elementary School Subdistrict IV Koto Agam District, especially Elementary School Gugus 01 Subdistrict IV Koto Agam experienced problems in the implementation of learning Arts and Skills Arts (SBK), especially craft materials. The reality that exists in the elementary school is that SBK learning is not well implemented. The main problem is that teachers do not master SBK material, especially craft materials. Based on these problems it was agreed with the Chairperson of Cluster 1 District IV Koto, that the priority issues to be resolved were concerning; 1) mastery of craft learning materials and 2) mastery of craft-making techniques from used goods. To overcome this problem, training was carried out to teachers, with the aim of increasing teacher mastery in craft learning, so as to improve the quality of SBK learning, especially craft material in Elementary School. The results of these activities are: Most of junior high school teachers have mastered the craft materials given, especially the technique of making handicrafts from used goods properly.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Kerinci Regency has many natural attractions, arts and cultural diversity and has become the center of natural tourist attractions, Arts and Culture, In line with the main objective of the Kerinci Regency Government, an event called Kerinci Festival was then organized. Therefore, it is necessary to redesign the brand to make it more attractive, consistent, and effective. The establishment of a Brand image can be done by designing the logo in advance and supported by the activity attributes (supporting media) of the festival which has a unified entirety to be easily remembered. Data collection method was used in this design through observation, interview, literature, documentation, and data analysis using SWOT and AISAS analyses. The next process was carried out by creating a new brand with the main media in the form of Kerinci festival logo of tourism enhancement, and supporting media such as festival attributes, print publications and audiovisual media that consistently have unity in Branding. The logo of the "Kerinci Tourism Charm Festival" consists of a visual form of the Asyiek dance and a combination of the Klouk Pakou motif supported by the tagline or slogan of Nature, Arts and Culture as the brand image of the Festival of Kerinci Tourism enhancement. 297

Abstract

Most of the children in the Al Ihsan Orphanage and the Aisyiah Nanggalo Orphanage in Padang do not yet have adequate skills, so that if they leave the orphanage they are afraid that they cannot be independent. For this reason, they are fostered by providing various types of skills as a means of life, so that they can leave the institution and can even create new jobs. Unfortunately the skills given in this institution are very limited and not varied. Factors that cause the lack of variety in the types of skills provided or carried out at this orphanage are; 1) lack of experts from various types of skills and 2) lack of funds for implementation, even though there is assistance from the government and the community but not enough. The types of skills that are often carried out are sewing sewing, while the type of crafting skill has never been given. Though most orphanage children (57%) have artistic talent. For this reason, the leadership of the institution hopes that there will be training in the manufacture of handicrafts for their caregivers Based on the above problems, it was agreed with the two leaders of the Orphanage partners, that the priority issues to be resolved were related to the lack of children's skills, especially craft skills. The solution offered to overcome this problem is to do craft skills training. The type of craft given is card weaving craft. The results of this activity are that in general (81.25%) the children of the Al Ihsan and Aisyiah orphanages in Nanggalo Padang District have the ability to make hand-woven card crafts in good categories

Abstract

Abstrac The creation of a painting with the theme "umah lahiek kerinci as a painting art idea" is a painting inspired by a traditional house of kerinci district, commonly called kerinci tribe house. Umah lahiek is a traditional residential house of kerinci tribe society which has a long lined pattern of connecting between one house and the house beside it. The pattern of umah lahiek as a long house is divided into several plots inhabited by one batih family (batik in the sense of husband and wife and their children), the order of this batik family according to the belly system, kelebu, tumbi. It means that in the social life of their families and their rabbits together, they have lived together in harmony, peace, mutual peace, mutual trust and respect between them, the rabid community has a strong sense of religion and kinship and fanaticism of customs, kerinci can also survive with the nature of his instincts, namely honest, obedient, helpful help, a very prominent sense of brotherhood and kinship, which can be seen when they work on rice fields and build homes. The interest in kerinci's home is to express ideas of aspiration to work in painting using the concept of reinterprestation and also to apply important social values in the daily life of kerinci community. And also the legacy that should be preserved and developed. The social life of the people who inhabited the house was touching the artist's heart to create a work of art. Because, this work of art not only to convey the message but to apply the values of humanity in the past through artwork.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan program penerapan IPTEKS kepada pemuda/pemudi Pasca Rehab Korban Penyalahgunaan Nafza (Narkoba)di Kel. Dadok Tunggul Hitam Padang, agar dapat memahami konsep dasar, prinsip-prinsip cetak screen/sablon dan proses pengembangannya, membantu pemuda/pemudi mengembangkan desain, fungsional, argonomis, estetis, dan ekonomis. Kerangka pemecahan masalah yang ditawarkan adalah pemberian materi wawasan desain dan keterampilan pengembangan desain cetak screen/sablon. Metode yang digunakan meliputi metode ceramah, Tanya jawab diskusi, demostrasi, latihan terbimbing dan resitasi. Kalayak sasaran adalah pemuda/pemudi putus sekolah Pasca Rehab yang memiliki kemampuan dasar membuat desain dan dapat menggunakan perangkat cetak sablon, dengan jumlah 15oarang. Hasil akhir dari rangkaian pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa secara umum adanya peningkatan wawasan desain. Hal ini dinilai dari kualitas jawaban yang diberikan pemuda/pemudi sesudah mengikuti penyajian materi desain cetak screen/sablon. Selanjutnya, adanya peningkatan kemampuan merancang desain dengan menggunakan perangkat cetak screen/sablon dinilai dari kualitas hasil cetak yang lansung pada baju kaos untuk digunakan oleh pemuda/ pemudi yang khasuntuk Korban Penyalahgunaan Nafza (Narkoba) di Kel. Dadok Tunggul Hitamtersebut.

Abstract

An orphanage is one of the means of protection and guidance for orphans, orphans and orphans and neglected children. This container is independent, which is sheltered under a foundation, one of which is Aisyiyah. The Aisyiyah Foundation provides facilities for sons and daughters with adequate facilities such as male and female dormitories, places of worship, sports and equipped with a well-organized management structure. In addition to formal activities that must be attended by orphanage children through school, it is also equipped with non-formal activities outside school hours which are more focused on efforts to equip children with several skills as a provision for them to be able to live independently in the midst of society. Besides providing skills for orphanage children is an effort to improve the quality of human resources (HR). One effort that can be done is to help orphanage children to develop skills in the field of textile crafts, namely batik with the application of traditional carving motifs on fashion products, table cloths, headscarves, paintings with a variety of shapes and sizes. This batik skill activity is very beneficial for orphanage children as a provision for them to become entrepreneurs later, if they are no longer the responsibility of the Foundation. To achieve the target as expected, this activity is carried out using the design, counseling, training and mentoring methods, so that each participant produces a product / work of Batik in the form of a table mat and wall decoration that has artistic value and is worth selling.
